Major League Baseball has announced the nominees for the 2025 All-MLB Team, with voting now open to fans. The All-MLB Team, which started in 2019, recognizes top players at each position during the regular season. Both First Team and Second Team honors are awarded.
Voting began on Monday at MLB.com/AllMLB and will continue until October 10 at noon Eastern Time. The final selections will be revealed on November 13 during the MLB Awards in Las Vegas.
Among this year’s nominees are Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees, Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Juan Soto of the New York Mets. Each is seeking a fifth selection to an All-MLB Team. In total, forty-six players on this year’s ballot have previously been named to an All-MLB Team, including twenty from last year’s roster.
The ballot also features 101 former All-Stars—68 of whom were selected as All-Stars in 2025—as well as eleven MVP Award winners, three Cy Young Award recipients, fourteen Rookie of the Year honorees, four Reliever of the Year winners, and eight batting champions.
The structure for both First and Second Teams includes one player each at catcher, first base, second base, shortstop, third base and designated hitter; three outfielders; five starting pitchers; and two relief pitchers. Only regular season performance is considered for these honors. Players from all Major League teams are eligible regardless of league affiliation.
