The Chicago Blackhawks prospects secured a 3-2 overtime victory against the St. Louis Blues prospects on Saturday night during the Tom Kurvers Prospect Showcase. Oliver Moore, a first-round pick in 2023 for Chicago, scored the game-winning goal just 24 seconds into overtime after breaking past the Blues defense.

With this win, Chicago improved to 1-0 in the showcase and is scheduled to face Minnesota on Sunday. The event features prospect teams from St. Louis, Chicago, and Minnesota ahead of NHL training camps set to begin next week.

For St. Louis, Otto Stenberg, also a 2023 first-round pick, opened scoring early with a goal just over a minute into the game. Defenseman Anthony Kehrer later tied the contest at 2-2 with less than eight minutes left in regulation.

Goaltender Will Cranley played through the first half without conceding a goal before being replaced by undrafted 18-year-old Matthew Koprowski. Koprowski is expected to join the Blues for their training camp starting Thursday at Centene Community Ice Center.

The Blues previously defeated Minnesota 6-4 in their opening game of the tournament on Friday.
