Brentwood Missouri Police Department – Auto Theft Saturation Patrols

0Comments

Brentwood police joined our central and west St. Louis County law enforcement partners Friday night to prevent auto thefts and vehicle break-ins throughout the region. Our combined efforts resulted in officers stopping 93 suspicious vehicles or persons, five firearms encountered, two persons arrested for various charges, and five arrest warrants cleared. No vehicle thefts were reported in the participating jurisdictions during the operational period.

You can help by locking your vehicles every night. Never leave your vehicle running or unattended with the key fob inside. Secure your valuables, especially firearms, in a safe place, not your vehicle. If you see anything suspicious, call 911. Do not confront thieves; they are armed and will not hesitate to use guns while committing these crimes.
