Put on your bowling shoes, grab your friends and get ready to have fun as the University of Central Missouri Union Bowling Center (UBC) launches Bowlers in the Burg. This new recreational team opportunity begins at 6 p.m. Feb. 9 at UBC, located in the
Elliott Student Union.
Bowlers in the Burg is open to all interested individuals age 18 and up. It is a competitive 12-week league that takes place every Thursday evening on campus through April 27.
Tandi Cox, UBC manager, invites campus members and individuals throughout the Warrensburg community to participate. Teams will consist of two to four people, and each person will pay $10 per night for three games. Individuals who have questions about Bowlers in the Burg are encouraged to contact Cox at tacox@ucmo.edu or call 660-543-8174.
The Union Bowling Center is open to the public seven days a week with free parking on the south side of the Union at the corner of Clark and Holden streets. UBC’s regular operating hours are 4-11 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 1-11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
