Former Westminster Christian Academy standout McKenzie Walker contributed to Georgia State’s 8-7 victory over the Alabama State Lady Hornets in NCAA Division I softball play on Tuesday, March 17, at 6 p.m.
Tuesday’s contest was held at Bob Heck Softball Complex, marking the squads’ initial meeting for the season.
Walker registered three hits in four at-bats, added one run and drew a walk.
The Panthers are set to face the Appalachian State Mountaineers on Friday, March 27, at 6 p.m. at Sywassink-Lloyd Family Stadium.
