St. Louis Blues announce opening night roster for start of 2025-26 NHL season

The St. Louis Blues have finalized their 23-man roster for the start of the 2025-26 NHL season, according to an announcement by President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong.

The team will begin its regular season at home against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Enterprise Center. Fans attending the opener will receive a 2025-26 Blues wall calendar, sponsored by Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers.

Before the game, an Opening Night Rally will take place as part of Dobbs Face-Off Week from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Union Station. The event is free and open to all ages. Afterward, fans are encouraged to join a march down Clark Avenue and fill Enterprise Center for pregame warm-ups starting at 6:30 p.m.

Following warm-ups, the Blues plan to debut a new pregame show before introducing the full roster for the upcoming season.

Doug Armstrong stated, “The Blues’ opening night roster for the 2025-26 regular season” has been set.

The opening night lineup features 14 forwards: Alexandre Texier, Brayden Schenn, Alexey Toropchenko, Robert Thomas, Jimmy Snuggerud, Pius Suter, Jordan Kyrou, Nathan Walker, Jake Neighbours, Oskar Sundqvist, Mathieu Joseph, Nick Bjugstad, Dylan Holloway, and Pavel Buchnevich.

On defense are Philip Broberg, Cam Fowler, Logan Mailloux, Matthew Kessel, Colton Parayko, Justin Faulk, and Tyler Tucker. Goaltenders Joel Hofer and Jordan Binnington complete the roster.
