St. Louis CITY SC announced that academy players Sam Anderson, Ryan Cloninger, Eddie Niles, and Blake Wilson have been selected for the U.S. U-16 Boys’ Youth National Team’s domestic training camp in Fayetteville, Georgia. The camp will run from September 12 to 19 and is led by head coach Paul Simpson.

The club stated this is the first time it has had more than three players called up to their respective national teams at once.

All four players are set to make their debuts with the U-16 squad. For Anderson and Cloninger, this will be their first experience with a national team at any level. Niles previously joined the U.S. U-15 National Team during its March training camp and now receives his second call-up. Wilson has made four appearances for the U.S. U-15 Boys’ National Team, including participation in the 2025 Concacaf Boys’ U-15 Championship roster.

“This marks the first time St. Louis CITY SC has more than three players called up to their respective national teams.”

All four athletes are products of St. Louis CITY SC’s youth development system.
