St. Louis CITY SC announced on March 11 that it will host “Pups on the Pitch Presented by Purina,” a picnic-style yappy hour event at Energizer Park on Sunday, March 22 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. The event invites fans and their dogs to experience the stadium from field level, with a portion of proceeds benefiting CARE STL Adoption Center.
The event aims to bring together the community of soccer fans and pet lovers while supporting local adoptable pets. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets for a relaxed evening where dogs can play and owners can enjoy the unique perspective of being on the pitch.
Andrea Faccio, President and Chief Growth Officer at Purina, said, “Through our partnership with St. Louis CITY SC, we’re always looking for new ways to welcome dogs and their people into the heart of the action. Pups on the Pitch celebrates the incredible CITY SC fan community and furthers our goal of creating unforgettable experiences for people and pets to enjoy together, all while supporting adoptable pets right here in St. Louis.”
Tickets are priced at $60 plus fees per package, which includes entry for two adults and one dog, two drink tickets per person, snacks, treat samples from Purina, photo opportunities on the field’s center circle, meet-and-greets with adoptable dogs from CARE STL Adoption Center, and more. Tickets go on sale starting March 11 at 10:00 a.m., with only a limited number available through www.stlcitysc.com/pups. Dog owners must provide required paperwork and up-to-date vaccination records.
This event continues Purina’s collaboration with St. Louis CITY SC in making stadium experiences pet-friendly. Previous initiatives include opening Energizer Park’s Purina Club in 2023—the first pet-friendly space in Major League Soccer—and hosting Pups at the Park events since 2025. Last summer also saw the introduction of Petey, a certified facility dog who serves as an ambassador for CITY SC.
