St. Louis CITY SC will face the Seattle Sounders at Lumen Field on Saturday night, with kickoff scheduled for 8:30 p.m. CT, according to an April 17 announcement. The match will be streamed live on Apple TV.

The game is part of the Major League Soccer regular season and offers St. Louis CITY SC a chance to continue their recent positive form. Fans can also listen to the match in English on KYKY Y98.1 FM or in Spanish on KXOK 102.9 FM.

In their last two outings, St. Louis CITY SC tied FC Dallas 1-1 at Toyota Stadium, with Timo Baumgartl scoring his first MLS goal and Daniel Edelman providing his third assist of the season. This result extended St. Louis’s unbeaten streak to three matches and marked their first point earned at Toyota Stadium in club history.

The team followed up with a decisive 4-0 win over FC Tulsa in the U.S. Open Cup Round of 32, where Marcel Hartel, Sangbin Jeong, Mykhi Joyner, and Tomáš Ostrák all scored goals—three of them netting their first goals of the year across all competitions for St. Louis CITY SC. Goalkeeper Roman Bürki secured his first clean sheet of both the season and U.S. Open Cup play during this match.

Earlier this season, St. Louis faced Seattle at Energizer Park but lost 1-0 despite outshooting Seattle and dominating possession in the second half; Sergio Córdova made his debut for CITY SC during that game.

Seattle enters Saturday’s contest after being eliminated from the CONCACAF Champions Cup by Tigres following a draw on aggregate earlier this week at Lumen Field. The Sounders currently sit fifth in Major League Soccer’s Western Conference with a record of four wins, one loss, and one draw.
