St Louis CITY2 secured a 3-0 victory over Minnesota United FC 2 on March 11 at Energizer Park. Palmer Ault scored his first professional goal in the 11th minute, assisted by Jemone Barclay, who also recorded his first professional assist. Mykhi Joyner added two goals, one in the 26th minute and another in the 53rd minute, both assisted by Ault.

The win marks CITY2’s second consecutive shutout to start the season, with the team having scored seven goals and conceded none through its first two matches. Goalkeeper Lucas McPartlin earned his third professional shutout during this match.

The game saw disciplined play from both sides, with Momoh Kamara of Minnesota receiving a caution in the 24th minute and Joyner of St Louis cautioned in the 34th minute. St Louis registered a total of eleven shots with five on target, while Minnesota had twelve shots and four on target.

CITY2 will play its next match away against Ventura County FC on Sunday, March 15, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. Central Time.
