De Smet Jesuit High School standouts Luke Burns and Mike Wunderlich’s college team won in NCAA Division II baseball game on Friday, Feb. 14

Luke Burns and Mike Wunderlich

On Friday, Feb. 14, former De Smet Jesuit High School standouts Luke Burns and Mike Wunderlich’s current college team, the William Jewell Cardinals, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Arkansas–Fort Smith Lions.

The game took place at Crowder Field. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 3:45 p.m. at Crowder Field against Arkansas–Fort Smith Lions.
