Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham arrived at the Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas ahead of Game 5 of the WNBA Semifinals wearing a custom St. Louis Blues jersey. The event took place before her team faced the Las Vegas Aces.

Cunningham, who is originally from Columbia, Missouri, highlighted her connection to her hometown hockey team by sharing an Instagram story. In the video, she turned around to display “Cunningham” on the back of her jersey while “Gloria” by Laura Branigan—the Blues’ victory anthem—played in the background.

A tweet from the official St. Louis Blues account shared an image of Cunningham’s arrival and referenced both her support for the team and her style choice.

Cunningham attended the University of Missouri before being selected in the second round of the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Phoenix Mercury. She was traded to Indiana Fever on January 31, 2025. In August, Cunningham sustained a season-ending knee injury that has kept her off the court.
