The St. Louis Blues have assigned five players to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds. The announcement was made by Doug Armstrong, President of Hockey Operations and General Manager for the Blues.

The players moving to Springfield include forwards Dalibor Dvorsky, Aleksanteri Kaskimaki, and Otto Stenberg, along with defensemen Theo Lindstein and Leo Loof.

The Blues are set to begin their 2025-26 regular season at home against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Enterprise Center. Fans attending the game will receive a 2025-26 Blues wall calendar provided by Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers.

Before the game, an Opening Night Rally will be held as part of Dobbs Face-Off Week from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Union Station. The event will feature appearances by Blues broadcasters Chris Kerber and Joey Vitale, team mascot Louie, Blue Crew members, as well as activities such as inflatables and a 50/50 raffle. Several partners—including 101 ESPN, Anheuser-Busch, Pepsi Zero Sugar, and 1st Phorm—will be present with activations and giveaways. The rally is free for all ages.
