Matrix Midwest has announced the launch of a new weekly hockey show, “Offside Hockey with Kerbs and Amy,” which will air Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. The program is hosted by Chris Kerber, the longtime play-by-play broadcaster for the St. Louis Blues, and Amy Marxkors, a radio host known for her coverage of the team.

According to JD Sosnoff, Vice President & General Manager of Matrix Midwest & KMOV-TV, “We are proud that Matrix Midwest is once again offering an exclusive local sports show and providing veteran St. Louis Blues play-by-play broadcaster, Chris Kerber, and co-host, Amy Marxkors, the opportunity to bring fresh and in-depth perspectives we know the hockey fans are hungry for. With Chris and Amy’s knowledge and experience covering the St. Louis Blues, ‘Offside Hockey’ is precisely the kind of dynamic regional sports content that makes Matrix Midwest the premier destination for hometown sports coverage and insider perspectives you won't find anywhere else."

The show will feature weekly segments such as “Stars of the Game,” focusing on storylines involving the St. Louis Blues. It will also include news from around the National Hockey League (NHL) and interviews with players, alumni, broadcasters, and other figures connected to hockey.

Chris Kerber said about his new role: "I couldn't be more excited to partner with Amy on this new show on Matrix Midwest. ‘Offside Hockey’ will let us dive deeper into the game we love, sharing the unique stories that reveal the character, dedication, and pure grit of this sport that keep fans engaged in the game on and off the ice.”

Kerber brings over three decades of broadcasting experience to his role as co-host. He is entering his 26th year with the St. Louis Blues organization and recently expanded his responsibilities by simulcasting play-by-play action for FanDuel Sports Network and 101 ESPN radio. Marxkors hosts a daily news talk program on KMOX 104.1 FM and was part of KMOX’s broadcast team during the Blues' Stanley Cup run in 2019.

Amy Marxkors stated: “I'm looking forward to one-of-a-kind hockey conversations with Kerbs. We’re going to bring fans in-depth hockey discussions – from breaking down game strategy to sharing conversations with players to celebrating what makes this sport so special.”

“Offside Hockey with Kerbs & Amy” is produced locally at First Alert 4 studios in Maryland Heights, Missouri. It joins another locally produced sports talk show on Matrix Midwest’s lineup.

Matrix Midwest operates as a free provider of sports, lifestyle, and entertainment programming for viewers in St. Louis via over-the-air channel 32 or channel 6 on Spectrum/Charter cable systems. The network is part of Gray Media Group alongside its sister station KMOV-TV (First Alert 4), which has served St. Louis since 1954.
