St. Louis CITY SC has announced a new partnership with rapper and St. Louis native Smino to release a limited-edition streetwear collection, with all net proceeds directed toward tornado relief efforts in the St. Louis region. The initiative follows severe tornadoes that affected the area in May.
The exclusive merchandise includes two shirt designs and two hoodie designs, featuring products from Zero Fatigue, an indie hip-hop/neo-soul collective and record label co-founded by Smino. The items are available in various sizes and priced between $45 and $80.
“Fashion has always been a big part of my life, so I’m grateful to be able to collab with CITY SC for a great cause,” said Smino. “It’s more than just clothes, it’s about representing St. Louis and giving back to the city that raised me.”
CITY SC confirmed that 100% of net proceeds from sales will go directly to the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis to aid tornado recovery efforts.
“This partnership with Smino represents everything CITY SC stands for: authenticity, creativity, and community,” said Matt Sebek, CITY SC Chief Experience Officer. “Together, we’re proving that sports can intersect with culture in meaningful ways while also showing up for our city.”
The collection is available online at www.stlcitysmino.com as well as at CITY Pavilion (2118 Market St), the team’s official store. The first 50 buyers at CITY Pavilion will receive a free bandana designed by Smino.
St. Louis CITY SC is Major League Soccer’s 28th expansion team and operates out of Energizer Park—a stadium district in downtown St. Louis that includes practice facilities, headquarters, and retail space on its urban campus.
Smino is recognized as an influential voice in hip-hop music who began his career in St. Louis before moving to Chicago for further opportunities in music production and philanthropy through his Kribmas foundation.
