The St. Louis Blues prospects opened the annual Tom Kurvers Prospect Showcase with a 6-4 victory over the Minnesota Wild prospects on Friday night at TRIA Rink in St. Paul.
Justin Carbonneau, who was selected 19th overall by the Blues in the 2025 NHL Draft, scored the decisive goal with just 1:22 remaining in regulation to break a 4-4 tie.

The Blues started strong with early goals from Dalibor Dvorsky and Adam Jiricek, both former first-round selections in previous drafts. This initial lead was overtaken by three straight goals from Minnesota, leaving St. Louis trailing 3-2 at the end of the first period.
Adam Jecho tied things up for St. Louis with the only goal of the second period. In the third period, Aleksanteri Kaskimaki gave the Blues another lead before Ryan McGuire of Minnesota evened it again at four apiece.
Simon Robertsson added an empty-net goal late to secure the win for St. Louis.
