The St. Louis Blues have announced that Alexander Steen, Al Arbour, and Barret Jackman will be inducted as the 2026 Class of the Blues Hall of Fame, presented by First Community.
The announcement was made in front of fans at the Enterprise Center during the first period of Wednesday's game against the Chicago Blackhawks.
The official induction ceremony will take place on Monday, January 12, at a dinner at the Missouri Athletic Club in downtown St. Louis. The following evening, the inductees will be honored before the Blues play the Carolina Hurricanes at 7 p.m. at Enterprise Center. Tickets for this game are available through ticketmaster.com.
Alexander Steen joined the Blues in a trade from the Toronto Maple Leafs on November 24, 2008. He played at least 12 seasons with the franchise and was part of the team’s first Stanley Cup win in 2019. Steen played in over 90 playoff games for the Blues and recorded 496 points (195 goals, 301 assists) in 765 regular-season games. He ranks fourth in franchise history for games played, sixth in assists and points, and tenth in goals. Steen is currently the special assistant to the general manager and has been named as the next general manager of the Blues beginning with the 2026-27 season.
Al Arbour was the first captain in St. Louis Blues history and a member of their original team during the 1967-68 season after being selected from Toronto in the expansion draft. Arbour led the team to three consecutive Stanley Cup Finals during his four seasons as a player with the club. He was an NHL All-Star in 1969 and finished fifth in Norris Trophy voting that year. Arbour also served as head coach for parts of three seasons (1970-71 to 1972-73), guiding them to the NHL Semi-Finals in 1971-72.
Barret Jackman was selected by St. Louis in the first round of the 1999 NHL Draft (17th overall). He spent 13 seasons with the Blues, tying Bernie Federko for most seasons played with the team. Jackman recorded 181 points (28 goals, 153 assists) and accumulated 1,026 penalty minutes across 803 regular-season games. He leads all defensemen and is second overall in franchise history for games played; his penalty minutes are fourth-most among all players. In his rookie season (2002-03), Jackman was named to the NHL All-Rookie Team and became St. Louis’ first Calder Trophy winner. He is one of six defensemen in franchise history to score an overtime playoff goal and one of only three with multiple game-winning playoff goals.
