Census Bureau: 77.8% of people in St. Louis County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 1,001,982 citizens living in St. Louis County in 2021, 77.8% were old enough to vote, equating to 779,134 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 364,729 were male, constituting 46.8%, and 414,405 were female, making up 53.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in St. Louis County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.3%.
