St. Louis CITY SC has reached an agreement for defender Selmir Pidro to join FK Velež Mostar on loan. The arrangement will last until the end of December 2025, which aligns with the expiration of Pidro's contract with CITY SC.
"Selmir has the chance to continue developing in a familiar and competitive environment back in Bosnia," said Sporting Director Lutz Pfannenstiel. "Returning to FK Velež Mostar gives him another opportunity for consistent minutes and continued growth. We wish him the best of luck."
Pidro previously spent the first half of 2025 on loan at FK Velež Mostar, making 12 appearances, scoring one goal, and providing two assists during his time there.
With St. Louis CITY SC, Pidro made 24 appearances across both the MLS first team and MLS NEXT Pro side CITY2. He contributed one goal and two assists while aiding CITY2's playoff efforts in 2023.
