St. Louis CITY SC has announced the addition of three players to their first-team roster on short-term loan agreements. Midfielder Tyson Pearce, defender Jaziel Orozco, and winger Mykhi Joyner will join the team for tonight's game against Real Salt Lake at America First Field.

This game marks Joyner's last short-term call-up. He has previously made four MLS regular season appearances this year and started in a U.S. Open Cup match against Union Omaha. Joyner has been notable for his performance with CITY2, scoring nine goals in 10 appearances and becoming one of only five players in MLS NEXT Pro history to score four goals in a single match.

Pearce is set to make his first appearance on the roster this season. Over the past three seasons with CITY2, he has played primarily as a right back or central midfielder, making 42 appearances. Last season, Pearce made 21 starts and logged 1,954 minutes.

Orozco returns for his second loan appearance with St. Louis CITY SC's first team. He has started all 15 matches for CITY2 this season and contributed to the team's strong defense that currently holds the best record in the Western Conference with 32 points. Orozco began his professional career with Real Salt Lake and made his MLS debut at age 18.

According to MLS roster rules, short-term agreements allow clubs to temporarily add players from their MLS NEXT Pro affiliates for league matches as well as other competitions like the U.S. Open Cup and Concacaf Champions Cup.

"TRANSACTION: St. Louis CITY SC adds Tyson Pearce, Jaziel Orozco, and Mykhi Joyner on short-term loan agreements."
