St Louis CITY2 ties record with seventh straight win over Real Monarchs

St Louis CITY2 achieved a milestone with their seventh consecutive victory, matching the MLS NEXT Pro record. The team secured a 3-1 win against Real Monarchs on Sunday night at America First Field. Brendan McSorley initiated the scoring in the 26th minute, marking his fifth goal of the season. Real Monarchs quickly responded to level the score by halftime.

In the second half, Emil Jääskeläinen put CITY2 back in front with a goal in the 77th minute. Matteo Kidd sealed the win with his fourth goal of the season in the 82nd minute. This victory places St Louis CITY2 at the top of the MLS NEXT Pro standings with 35 points.
