St Louis CITY2 secured their eighth consecutive victory in MLS NEXT Pro by defeating Austin FC II 4-2 at Parmer Field. The match, which took place on Friday night, saw Miguel Perez open the scoring for CITY2 in the 12th minute with a header from a corner kick delivered by Wan Kuzain. Mykhi Joyner extended the lead to 2-0 five minutes later through a penalty kick and added another goal in the 24th minute with assistance from Brendan McSorley. Wan Kuzain also found the back of the net in the 39th minute, marking his first goal of the season.
