St. Louis CITY SC calls up Mykhi Joyner ahead of Nashville SC match

St. Louis CITY SC has announced the addition of winger Mykhi Joyner to its first-team roster on a short-term agreement ahead of the match against Nashville SC at Energizer Park.

Joyner, who recently played for the first team as a substitute in the July 10 game against Real Salt Lake, has primarily featured for St Louis CITY2 in MLS NEXT Pro. He scored his 12th goal of the season with CITY2 during Wednesday night's game against Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2.

According to Major League Soccer rules, Homegrown Players like Joyner who are not on the main roster can be called up temporarily and may participate in up to six regular season matches per year under such agreements.
