St. Louis City SC has announced its plans to honor Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from September 15 to October 15, 2025. The club will celebrate the occasion during its match against LAFC on Saturday, September 27. According to the announcement, fans attending the match can expect an artist collaboration that highlights the Hispanic community and other related activities.

The club is also encouraging participation in a variety of events across St. Louis throughout the month. These include a Hispanic Heritage Celebration at City Hall on September 18, which will feature food, entertainment, cultural performances, and awards for local Hispanic leaders.

Another major event is the Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festival from September 19 to 21 at Soulard Park. This festival offers live music, food from local restaurants, and activities celebrating Hispanic arts and culture.

Additional events include a chocolate social with the Ecuadorian Society at Missouri Botanical Garden on September 23, where attendees can learn about Ecuadorian chocolate and sample wine pairings; and “¡Viva México!” at The Magic House—a family-friendly exhibit running through January 19, 2026 that introduces visitors to Mexican geography, history, and traditions.

Workshops and performances are also planned at Schlafly Library in early October. On October 2, local artist José Garza will lead a flag design workshop exploring vexillology—the study of flags—and participants will have the opportunity to create their own designs. On October 4, Grupo Atlántico will present music and dances from several Latin American countries as part of a National Hispanic Heritage Month celebration performance.

Families can attend a special Sunday program focused on Hispanic heritage at the Saint Louis Art Museum on October 5. Later in the month, the Missouri History Museum will host an evening event featuring storytelling from members of St. Louis’s Hispanic community along with music and food vendors.

The Intermezzo Society is hosting “¡Celebremos la Ópera Juntos!” on October 9 at Cocina Latina—a cocktail party paired with opera performances by emerging artists.

“Join us on matchday to learn more about our latest artist collaboration highlighting the Hispanic community and much more,” reads a statement from St. Louis City SC’s announcement regarding their celebration during their home game against LAFC.

The list of highlighted events provides opportunities for residents of all ages to participate in cultural exchange and celebrate contributions from the city’s diverse Hispanic population.
