St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced that defenseman Cam Fowler has agreed to a three-year contract extension with the team.
Fowler, who is 33 years old, joined the Blues after being traded from the Anaheim Ducks on December 14, 2024. Last season, he played in 51 regular-season games for St. Louis, scoring 36 points with nine goals and 27 assists. He also recorded eight penalty minutes.
Among NHL defensemen last season, Fowler ranked tenth in total points and fourth in even-strength points with 28 while playing for the Blues. In the postseason, he participated in all seven games for St. Louis and set a franchise record for points by a defenseman in a single series with ten points—two goals and eight assists.
Fowler was originally drafted by Anaheim as the twelfth overall pick in the first round of the 2010 NHL Draft. Over his career, he has accumulated 493 points (105 goals and 388 assists) across 1,042 regular-season games. In playoff action throughout his career, he has posted eight goals and thirty-five assists for forty-three total points over sixty-nine games.
