Former De Smet Jesuit High School standout Sam Cardwell’s collegiate team to play for NCAA D2 Baseball Championship starting Thursday, May 16

Former De Smet Jesuit High School player and current Maryville Saints right handed pitcher, Sam Cardwell, will compete in the NCAA D2 Baseball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number three seed against the sixth seeded Grand Valley State Lakers.

The first game is on Thursday, May 16.
