St. Louis CITY SC is set to host Orlando City SC at Energizer Park for the first time, with the match scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday, June 25. Fans have several options to catch the action live, including streaming via MLS Season Pass on Apple TV or listening to radio broadcasts on KYKY Y98.1 FM for English commentary and KXOK 102.9 FM for Spanish.

The event will also celebrate a significant milestone in U.S. soccer history—the 75th anniversary of the "Miracle on Grass," when the United States achieved a historic victory over England in the 1950 World Cup. Five players from St. Louis were part of that team, and their contributions will be honored with appearances by their surviving family members during pre-match festivities.

Additional activities include a mural unveiling by local artist Scott Pondrom at Anthonino’s Taverna, a special merchandise collaboration with SoccerBible available for pre-order, and a "From the Hill to Brazil" CITY Block Party at Lou Fusz Plaza featuring Brazilian BBQ sampling from Expat BBQ.

In their last outing, St. Louis CITY SC managed a dramatic 3-3 draw against LA Galaxy on June 14, thanks to João Klauss's hat trick—his first with CITY SC—and maintained an unbeaten streak in their last three home matches.

Klauss has been pivotal for St. Louis this season, scoring his third, fourth, and fifth MLS goals against LA Galaxy and earning MLS Player of the Matchday honors presented by Michelob Ultra for Matchday 19.

This upcoming match marks only the second meeting between St. Louis CITY SC and Orlando City SC; their previous encounter was on August 26, 2023, where Orlando secured a win with Facundo Torres's brace.

Orlando City currently holds fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings with an 8-4-6 record but has lost two of its last three matches despite defeating Colorado on June 14. Martín Ojeda leads Orlando with nine goals and five assists this season.
