The St. Louis Blues are set to participate in the 2025 NHL Draft with three picks, despite the possibility of trades by General Manager Doug Armstrong to acquire more selections. The draft will take place on June 27 and 28 at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.
Round 1 is scheduled for Friday, June 27, starting at 6 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on ESPN and ESPN+. Rounds 2 through 7 will occur on Saturday, June 28, beginning at 11 a.m. CT on NHL Network and ESPN+.
This year's draft introduces a new format where team general managers and scouting staff will be positioned at off-site locations, resembling the approach used by the NFL and NBA. The top 50 prospects have been invited to attend in Los Angeles. Selected prospects will appear on stage, don their new team's jersey, and then enter a virtual-reality room equipped with a 360-degree camera to meet team executives.
The Blues' first selection is the No. 19 overall pick in the first round. Their subsequent picks are in the fifth round (No. 147) and sixth round (No. 179).
St. Louis previously traded its second-round (No. 51) and third-round (No. 83) picks to Edmonton as compensation after Edmonton did not match offer sheets for defenseman Philip Broberg and forward Dylan Holloway. Additional trades were made for players Mathieu Joseph and Alexandre Texier in previous years, affecting other rounds' picks.
Full Season Ticket Holders of the Blues are invited to a Summer Social event during the first round of the draft at Enterprise Center, featuring appearances from special guests.
