Blues extend qualifying offers to Alexandrov, Skinner, Zherenko

St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced that the team has extended qualifying offers to three players: forward Nikita Alexandrov, defenseman Hunter Skinner, and goaltender Vadim Zherenko.

Nikita Alexandrov, aged 24, played in 48 regular-season games with the Blues' AHL affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds, last season. He ranked second on the team with 49 points, comprising 21 goals and 28 assists. Over his career in the AHL, Alexandrov has participated in 170 regular-season games, accumulating a total of 129 points with 58 goals and 71 assists. Additionally, he has contributed nine points through three goals and six assists in his 51 regular-season appearances for the St. Louis Blues.

Hunter Skinner also at age 24 played in 71 regular-season games for the Thunderbirds last season. He recorded a total of 23 points with eight goals and fifteen assists while amassing 98 penalty minutes. In his overall AHL career spanning over 203 regular-season games, Skinner has collected a total of 56 points through sixteen goals and forty assists along with accruing a total of 249 penalty minutes.

Vadim Zherenko posted a record of twelve wins, seventeen losses, and five overtime losses across thirty-two regular-season games for the Thunderbirds last season. His performance included a goals-against average of 3.44 alongside an .897 save percentage as well as one shutout game. Throughout his AHL career covering eighty-six regular-season games so far, Zherenko holds a record of thirty-four wins against forty losses plus nine overtime losses while maintaining an average goal rate against him at approximately three point thirty-seven per game coupled with achieving two shutouts overall.
