Offense was prominent in the Minor Leagues on Friday night, with several top prospects making significant impacts. Among them, Jett Williams and Jefferson Rojas each hit two home runs, while Blake Mitchell made a notable comeback. Spencer Jones continued his strong performance at Triple-A by hitting his 22nd home run of the year.

Blake Mitchell, catcher for Quad Cities and ranked No. 2 for Kansas City and No. 33 in MLB, overcame a slow start after returning from a rehab assignment. The 20-year-old hit his first homer for the River Bandits, doubled twice, and walked in five plate appearances. Mitchell had been sidelined due to a broken hamate bone sustained during Spring Training.

Jett Williams, shortstop/outfielder for Binghamton and ranked No. 1 for New York Mets and No. 45 in MLB, achieved his second multihomer game of the season. He collected three hits, three RBIs, scored twice, and stole his 25th base of the season.

Quinn Mathews pitched effectively for Memphis (ranked No. 2 for St. Louis Cardinals and No. 60 in MLB), delivering four scoreless innings with five strikeouts as he aims to secure a spot in St. Louis' lineup.

Jefferson Rojas from South Bend (ranked No. 3 for Chicago Cubs and No. 64 in MLB) continued his impressive streak by hitting two home runs during a three-RBI night.

Spencer Jones of Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (ranked No. 2 for New York Yankees) is performing well following his promotion to Triple-A, achieving three hits including a home run that drove in three runs.

Aidan Smith from Bowling Green also had an outstanding game with two homers and six RBIs.

The latest updates on these players are available through MLB Pipeline's coverage which includes stats, videos, podcasts, and more insights into top prospects' performances.
