St. Louis CITY SC has announced the addition of midfielder Tyson Pearce to their first-team roster on a short-term loan agreement. This move comes ahead of the team's match against FC Dallas, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT at Toyota Stadium.
Pearce, who is 18 years old, made his Major League Soccer (MLS) debut with St. Louis CITY SC earlier this month in a game against Real Salt Lake. He was also on the bench during last weekend's match against the Portland Timbers. Pearce is noted as the fourth homegrown player in the club's history to play minutes in a league match.
According to MLS roster rules, short-term agreements permit clubs to temporarily include players from their MLS NEXT Pro affiliates for various competitions including league matches, the U.S. Open Cup, Concacaf Champions Cup, Canadian Championship, and exhibitions.
