St. Louis CITY SC has completed the transfer of midfielder Njabulo Blom to Thep Xanh Nam Dinh FC, the reigning champions of Vietnam's V.League 1. As part of the agreement, St. Louis CITY SC will retain a sell-on percentage for any future transfers involving Blom.
"We want to thank Njabulo for his time here," stated Sporting Director Lutz Pfannenstiel. "His contributions during our inaugural season were an integral part of the club’s early success and we wish him success in this new adventure."
Blom joined St. Louis CITY SC before the 2023 MLS season following four seasons with South African team Kaizer Chiefs. During his tenure at CITY SC, he started 21 matches and appeared in a total of 26 games during their first campaign. Over two seasons, Blom played in 37 matches across all competitions, scoring two goals including a game-winning goal against Minnesota United in 2023 and another on the road against Vancouver in 2024.
