St. Louis City SC prepares for clash against Minnesota United FC

St. Louis CITY SC is set to face Minnesota United FC on Saturday, July 26 at Energizer Park. The match will begin at 7:30 p.m. CT and can be viewed live on MLS Season Pass via the Apple TV app. Local radio coverage will be available in English on KYKY Y98.1 FM and in Spanish on KXOK 102.9 FM.

For those watching through Apple TV, Neil Sika and Lloyd Sam will provide commentary in English, while Jesus Acosta and Carlos Suarez will do so in Spanish. On the radio, Joey Zanaboni, Dale Schilly, and Tom Ackerman will cover the game in English, with Santiago Beltran and Hector Vega offering Spanish commentary.

Pre-match activities include a CITY Block Party starting at 4:30 PM at Lou Fusz Plaza with music from Lexodus. Fans are encouraged to arrive early for various activities such as spinning a prize wheel and enjoying food from local vendors like Steve’s or Balkan Treat Box. Gates open at 6:00 PM, allowing fans to use Mobile Order Ahead through the CITY App. The first 10,000 attendees will receive a St. Louis CITY SC bucket hat courtesy of Dobbs Tire & Auto Center.

St. Louis CITY SC previously lost 3-0 against FC Dallas last weekend at Toyota Stadium.

Historically, St. Louis CITY SC has a record of 1-4-0 against Minnesota United FC, with their sole victory occurring in September 2023 when João Klauss and Njabulo Blom scored to secure a win at Allianz Field.

Minnesota United FC is currently third in the Western Conference with 41 points and an away record of 5-2-5. They are coming off a two-match winless streak after losing to LAFC and drawing with Portland Timbers FC. Tani Oluwaseyi leads Minnesota's scoring with nine goals this season.
