St. Louis CITY2 aims to continue their impressive run by extending their unbeaten streak to ten matches against Minnesota United FC 2. The game is scheduled for Sunday, July 27 at 6:00 p.m. CT at Energizer Park and will be available on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

The team recently achieved a nine-game unbeaten streak with a victory over Ventura County FC. Matteo Kidd scored his fifth goal of the season to level the score, leading to a penalty shootout where Christian Olivares made two key saves and Cam Cilley scored the decisive penalty.

If successful on Sunday, it would be the first time CITY2 remains undefeated for consecutive months. During this period, they have accumulated 26 out of 27 possible points, placing them first in MLS NEXT Pro.

Previously, St. Louis defeated Minnesota United FC 2 with a score of 3-2 on May 18 at National Sports Center Stadium, marking the beginning of an eight-match win streak for CITY2.

Minnesota comes into Sunday's game after a midweek defeat against The Town FC. They currently hold tenth place in the MLS NEXT Pro Western Conference with a record of 7-7-3 and have amassed 24 points this season. Luke Hille leads their scoring with seven goals while Curt Calov has six assists.
