Samuel Basallo, a top-ranked catcher, showcased his offensive prowess with a standout performance for Triple-A Norfolk. Basallo hit a home run and two doubles during a career-high five-hit game. The 20-year-old has matched his personal best of 20 home runs, initially set in 2023. He currently leads all Minor League catchers in home runs and maintains a .282/.395/.624 slash line over 63 games.

Bryce Eldridge, playing for Sacramento, continues to adapt to Triple-A with impactful hits. The Giants' first-round pick from 2023 hit a three-run homer, marking his sixth in 23 games for Sacramento. Eldridge has driven in seven runs since returning from the injured list.

Alex Freeland of Oklahoma City hit another home run, continuing his recent streak. Although he didn't replicate his six-RBI performance from the previous day, Freeland's recent form has contributed significantly to his season total of 71 RBIs.

Drew Gilbert of Syracuse delivered another strong performance with his third multihomer game in less than a month. Gilbert added a double and four RBIs to his tally, raising his total to 52 for the season.

Tyson Lewis made an impressive debut in the Florida State League with Single-A Daytona by hitting a massive home run and adding a double. The 19-year-old scored three times and drove in two runs during the game.

Rainiel Rodriguez is finding success after being promoted to Single-A Palm Beach. The Dominican Republic native homered for the second consecutive game and has now hit safely in nine of his last eleven games.

Lucas Braun had another solid outing for Columbus, striking out eight batters while allowing just one run over six innings. Despite a challenging previous start, Braun has been effective throughout July.
