The St. Louis Blues have signed forward Milan Lucic to a professional tryout, according to an announcement from President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong.

Lucic, 37, last played for the Boston Bruins during the 2023-24 season, recording two assists in four regular-season games. He took an indefinite leave of absence from the team in November that season and later entered the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program. After completing the program, Lucic was reinstated by the NHL.

Lucic is a veteran of 17 NHL seasons. His career includes nine seasons with Boston, four with the Calgary Flames, three with the Edmonton Oilers, and one with the Los Angeles Kings. Over his career, he has played in 1,177 regular-season games and collected 586 points (233 goals and 353 assists) along with 1,301 penalty minutes. In postseason play, Lucic has tallied 77 points (29 goals and 48 assists) across 136 games and was part of Boston’s Stanley Cup-winning team in 2011.
