St. Louis CITY SC forward Sangbin Jeong has been selected for the South Korea national football team for a pair of friendly matches in September. This marks his second appearance with the senior national squad. Jeong previously scored his first international goal during his debut, contributing to a 5-0 victory over Sri Lanka in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The South Korean team is scheduled to play against the U.S. Men’s National Team on September 6 at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey, followed by a match against Mexico on September 9 at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee.

Since joining St. Louis CITY SC on July 21, Jeong has started three consecutive matches. He netted his first goal for the club against Nashville SC and registered his first assist during a recent game versus Vancouver Whitecaps.
