St. Louis CITY SC and Purina will host a special event called Pups at the Park, allowing fans to bring their dogs to Energizer Park for the St. Louis CITY2 match against MNUFC2 on Friday, September 12 at 7:00 p.m. The event offers reserved seating for people and their pets on the stadium’s south lower concourse. Ticket sales begin Friday, August 1 at 10:00 a.m. CST.
This initiative builds on last year’s sold-out Pups on the Pitch event and the ongoing popularity of the Purina Club, which is recognized as Major League Soccer’s first permanent pet-friendly stadium space and has sold out since its opening in 2023.
“Pups at the Park expands upon our partnership with our founding partner and official kit partner, Purina, and gives our fans a memorable MLS Next Pro matchday experience they can enjoy alongside their canine companions,” said Matt Sebek, St. Louis CITY SC’s Chief Experience Officer. “We are looking forward to hosting fans and their dogs at Energizer Park and supporting our friends at the APA Adoption Center and the great work they do in our community.”
Tickets for Pups at the Park are priced at $25 plus fees for one person and one dog (with a maximum of two per transaction). Additional human tickets can be purchased for $15 plus fees each (up to six per transaction). Five dollars from every ticket sold will be donated directly to the APA Adoption Center.
“We’re excited to introduce a new pet-inclusive occasion to passionate soccer fans and pet owners that furthers our shared ambition to make St. Louis CITY SC the most pet-friendly sports club in the world,” said Eric Willis, Purina Chief Marketing Officer. “The response to the Purina Club has been remarkable, and Pups at the Park allows us to extend that opportunity – to experience the thrills of a live CITY soccer match – with your pet by your side.”
Attendees will have access to several activities such as photo opportunities with views of the pitch, bandana giveaways for dogs, treat giveaways from Purina, face painting for humans, and adoptable pets from APA present at the venue. Entry requirements include completion of a release form and submission of vaccination information for each dog.
Currently leading MLS Next Pro with 43 points from 13 wins this season, St. Louis CITY2 recently set a league record by winning eight consecutive matches and maintaining an unbeaten streak now reaching ten games.
